Admission Information


To undergraduates / graduates:

Below are the initial requrements for international students applying to Josai International University. Please contact our Admissions Office after confirming that you qualify:

  1. For candidates from countries where the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) is conducted by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO):
    1. applicants must have taken both the "Japanese as a Foreign Language" and the "Japan and the World" components of the EJU;
    2. applicants must have scored 220 points or more on the "Japanese as a Foreign Language" component of the EJU, or have been certified at Level 2 or higher in the Japanese Proficiency Test (Nihongo Nouryoku Shiken).
  2. For candidates from counties where the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) is not offered:
    1. applicants must have been certified at Level 2 or higher in the Japanese Proficiency Test (Nihongo Nouryoku Shiken).
