Josai International University Holds 2014 Entrance Ceremony

On April 4, 2014, Josai International University held its entrance ceremony for the 2014 academic year at the Sport Culture Center on the Chiba Togane campus.
In attendance at the ceremony were Counselor Gyorgyi Juhasz of the Embassy of Hungary in Japan and Counselor Piotr Szostak of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Japan. Also in attendance was Way Kuo, President of the City University of Hong Kong, with whom JIU signed an academic exchange agreement. At this occasion,Way Kuo addressed the audience is this way: “The life of a college student is a splendid point of departure for one’s life journey. It fosters an independent spirit that is also implicit in the spiritual legacy of this university’s foundation. Please make the most of this opportunity by considering what you would like to accomplish in the future.”

Speaking as a representative of this year’s incoming class and member of the soccer team, Yuta Yamanouchi (Funabashi Municipal High School) expressed his strong desire to, “actively foster international exchange through sports and develop friendships that transcend national borders.”

The grounds overflowed with parents, guardians, and other attendees, making it an extremely successful event.
