GSIA students made a presentation on tourism promotion and foods in Kesennuma, Miyagi

Eight graduate students of Associate Professor Takekuni Kurosawa's Lab. participated in a study session sponsored by the Kesennuma Work Creation Project on August 24,2019.
They made a presentation on Kesennuma tourism promotion and foods from the perspective of Chinese tourists.
Tastings of local special products such as smoked marlin,mackerel,and sea squirts, saury kelp rolls,and bonito namari-bushi are also held.The students exchanged opinions with members of Kesennuma Marin Product Industries Cooperative.This event was introduced in the September 3 front-page article of the local newspaper,Sanriku Shimpo.
