Open Lecture Inviting the Ambassador of Djibouti in Japan
The Graduate School of International Administration (GSIA) held an open lecture as part of the class on Monday, January 20, 2020, inviting H.E. Mr. Ahmed Araita Ali, Ambassador of Djibouti in Japan.
The Ambassador explained the current situation and future potential of the Republic of Djibouti with examples of geopolitical advantages, investment environment, infrastructure development, and tourism industry. We also learned a lot about Japan's deep connection with TICAD, overseas base of the SDF, tuna resources in the Red Sea, and friendship with Minamisoma City damaged by the tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
There were many questions from the participants, and lively exchange of opinions took place. We would like to thank the Ambassador for providing a wonderful opportunity.
