留学生別科の留学生（ベトナム・スリランカ・バングラデシュ）と国際開発研究会のメンバーとのスポーツ交流会を催しました。

Students from a special exchange program (Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh) and members of The Japan Society for International Development held a sports exchange meeting.

日本人の学生は「だるまさんが転んだ」や「ハンカチ落とし」など日本の遊びを紹介し、ベトナム人留学生からはベトナムのスポーツ
ダカウを教えてもらいました。

Japanese students introduced Japanese games, such as Daruma-san ga koronda and Hankachi otoshi to the foreign students and learned a game called da cau from Vietnamese students.

日本語をつかって交流し、日本の文化を体験することで、留学生はさらなる日本語の修得意欲に繋がったようです。日本人学生もベトナムで一般的なスポーツをともに体験することで、相互理解がより深まったようです。

The experience of having daily interaction with the Japanese language seems to highly motivate the students to learn Japanese. Also, the Japanese students could, more than before, deepen their mutual intercultural understanding through playing popular Vietnamese sports.
