QIs it okay if I participate alone?
AOf course! Many people attend alone each time. On the day of the event, student staff will guide you around the campus and answer your questions, providing full support to ensure everyone can relax and enjoy themselves, so please come without any worries.
QIs advance reservation required? Is it possible to participate on the day of the event?
AWe generally require advance reservations. You can register through the reservation form on the university's official website. Some programs have limited capacity, so early reservations are recommended. Walk-in participants on the day are also welcome, so please feel free to speak to a staff member.
QAre there any dress code requirements? Should I wear my school uniform?
AThere is no dress code! While some attendees wear uniforms, a large number of participants come in casual clothes. Since the program includes walking tours of the campus, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing that allows for easy movement.
QCan parents participate as well?
AYes, we encourage Guardian to join us as well. We also offer consultation corners and information sessions specifically for parents. Our expert staff will provide detailed answers to any questions you may have regarding tuition fees, scholarships, support systems for students living alone, and more.
QI'm having trouble deciding which faculty/department to join. Is it possible to visit multiple departments/faculties?
AJosai International University offers a diverse range of faculties and departments, allowing you to explore several fields that interest you. Please feel free to consult with our staff. We encourage you to compare and contrast the faculties and departments that pique your interest.
QIs there a place to eat lunch?
AChiba Togane Campus has a student cafeteria, allowing you to experience what a real university student cafeteria is like. Enjoy lunch and get a feel for Campus Life!
If you are using the shuttle bus, we recommend having lunch beforehand, as the program will begin immediately upon arrival. Please pay close attention to the program start time.
At the Tokyo Kioicho Campus, the cafeteria is not open except on days when free cafeteria trial sessions are held. However, you are welcome to use the cafeteria space and bring in your own food and drinks.
QCan I get specific advice regarding the entrance exams?
AEach event will include individual consultation corners and general information sessions where admissions staff will clearly explain the key points and strategies for each admissions category (comprehensive, school recommendation, general selection, international student admissions, etc.). In addition, we plan to hold interview and essay preparation sessions irregularly. You can also hear from current students about their experiences, which will be a great opportunity to learn about their study methods and the atmosphere of the entrance exams.
QAre international students allowed to participate?
AOf course! We have international students participating, so please come without worry. If you have any concerns, please Contact us the Admissions Office before you come.
