"connected" university
Connectivity
A new departure full of exhilaration, looking ahead to the 21st century.
Chiba, which is rich in nature, history, and culture; Tokyo, which is stimulating with innovation and novelty; and intellectual activities on contrasting campuses. As a “connected university,” we actively pursue new learning while nurturing diversity, and create and disseminate values unique to the global era.

An "international university" that attracts students from all over the world must create, maintain and develop an environment that nurtures a broad perspective and an open mind. As an International University of Japan, we strongly believe in this awareness, and we hope that the students, faculty, and staff at our two campuses, Tokyo Kioicho and Chiba Togane, will continue to work together with their parents and relatives to come up with ideas and put them into practice.
On November 15, 2019, Josai International University joined the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI), which includes more than 1,400 institutions in more than 130 countries around the world. UNAI is a partnership between the United Nations and universities (institutions of higher education) around the world that sets out ten universal principles in the areas of "human rights, literacy, sustainability and conflict resolution". Activities to actively support these activities are required.
