SDGs ∞ JIU University President Declaration

Since its opening in 1992, our university has promoted global education and has exchanges with approximately 200 universities around the world. As a comprehensive university, we develop a diverse range of learning through our extensive language education and study abroad programs, and produce human resources who have acquired the skills to play an active role in the global society. Goal 4 of the SDGs “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all” and Goal 17 “Strengthen the means of implementation for sustainable development and・We are contributing to the achievement of the SDGs as an activity that leads to “revitalizing partnerships”. What are SDGs (Sustainable Goals)?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) refer to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted at the United Nations Summit in September 2015 as the successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) established in 2001.
