Employment support with specialized knowledge

We hold industry research meetings on specialized jobs for students of the Faculty Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Social Work Studies Department of Clinical Pharmacy, Department of Social Work Studies, Department of Welfare Studies and Department of Physical Therapy. We support students in finding employment by utilizing their expertise, with participation from hospitals, drug stores, pharmaceutical companies, clinics, and nursing care facilities for the elderly.

We have prepared an industry-academia collaboration program with ANA Research Institute Co., Ltd. for the purpose of developing human resources in the aviation and airport industries. We offer lectures, internships at the airport, and individual interviews with visiting researchers.

From the first year, we conduct aptitude tests to understand personality analysis, job aptitude, basic skills as a member of society, and one's own strengths. It is possible to take the exam online, and follow-up courses are held based on the test results, providing support for finding the right job.

Each faculty has a teacher training course

JIU has established a teacher training course that allows students to obtain a teaching license. In order to obtain a teaching license, it is necessary not only to obtain a bachelor's degree, but also to acquire credits in the prescribed subjects and subjects related to the teaching profession in a course accredited by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. We have set up a “Teaching Support Office” for students who aim to become teachers, and we are also focusing on teacher training.
