Amidst rising prices, our university implemented the "100 Yen Cafeteria Campaign" at two campuses, Chiba Togane Campus and the Tokyo Kioicho Campus, with the aim of providing financial support to students.

Against the backdrop of rising food costs in recent years, this campaign aims to alleviate the financial burden on students by providing nutritious meals at low prices, and to support a healthy student life by creating an environment where students can concentrate on their studies. This initiative, which is being implemented for the first time with the support of the alumni association, allows students to enjoy Menu that normally costs 500 yen for a self-payment of 100 yen.

At Chiba Togane Campus, plate lunches were offered for five days from April 27th to May 1st, with a limit of 200 servings per day. The event was so popular that lines formed even before the cafeteria opened, and students were seen running there after classes. Students who usually bring their own lunches commented, "The inexpensive lunch service helps us save money, which is a great help," and "I can't work part-time during exam periods, so being able to eat for 100 yen is incredibly helpful. I hope this continues regularly in the future."

Additionally, at the Tokyo Kioicho Campus, a weekly special hamburger lunch was offered for one day only on April 29th, limited to 150 servings. Students commented, "Buying a meal at the school cafeteria for around 500 yen every time can be expensive, so this kind of support is very helpful," and "Convenience store food is expensive, and since I live alone, being able to eat for 100 yen was very much appreciated."

We will continue to work in cooperation with alumni associations and other organizations to promote initiatives aimed at improving student satisfaction and further enriching student life.
