Chiba Title Sponsor for the Lotte Marines Game: Hosting “Josai International University DAY” to Put Learning into Practice

Our university will be the title sponsor of the professional baseball game between Chiba Lotte Marines and the Saitama Seibu Lions, to be held on September 20th. The game will be named "Josai International University DAY," and various events are being prepared at ZOZO Marine Stadium, the venue for the game, to deepen interaction with baseball fans and local residents.

"Josai International University Day" is an ongoing initiative from last year. On the day of the event, student representatives from each booth will work with faculty and staff to plan and run various events inside and outside the stadium, including stage performances and workshops. Please come and join us!

Show your support with Hangeul body painting! Japan-Korea Lotte cheering booth (Department of International Culture Department of Inter-cultural Studies Faculty of International Humanities, Korean Language Course)

This booth was planned by students studying in the Korean Language course Department of Inter-cultural Studies. Connecting Japanese and Korean baseball culture with "Lotte" as the central theme, visitors can experience cheering in Hangul. Let's learn together, write cheering phrases in Hangul on the back of your hand or cheek, and cheer on Chiba Lotte Marines!

Health Sciences Department Event

Students from Department of Nursing, Department of Physical Therapy, and Department of Social Work Studies will share the appeal of Health Sciences with a wide range of generations from the perspectives of "measuring the body," "understanding the body," and "supporting health."

Let's measure your leg strength and balance! We'll measure your lower limb strength and balance based on your ability to stand up from a chair. Receive feedback from faculty and students to help prevent injuries and improve your self-care knowledge. The first 100 participants will receive a free JIU original water bottle. Following Josai International University Public Relations Office on Instagram or X is required to participate.

The science of the mind and body of babies (Department of Nursing / Department of Social Work Studies)

Guess the weight of a newborn! Try to guess the average weight of a newborn, which is about 3000g. Participants will receive Chiba Lotte Marines x JIU merchandise as a gift. Students will also introduce things they learn about that are normal (safe) for adults but dangerous for babies, and explain in an easy-to-understand way how to prevent them and what precautions to take.

Answer the baseball quiz correctly and get original merchandise (JIU Mathematics, Data Science, AI Education)

Our university cultivates individuals with expertise in mathematics, data science, and AI. This time, we'll have you answer a quiz utilizing sabermetrics related to baseball. Those who answer all questions correctly will receive Chiba Lotte Marines x JIU merchandise as a prize.

These students, who study stage production, sound, and entertainment, have created a special stage for this event to entertain everyone. Please come and enjoy the performance!
