Softball baseball team wins East Kanto Block Tournament, advances to All Japan Tournament

Our university's rubber-ball baseball team participated in the university rubber-ball baseball East Kanto Block Tournament (June 7th and 8th, Naspa Stadium), defeating Ryutsu Keizai University 6-4 in the final to win the championship. As a result, we have won the right to participate in the “3rd All Japan University Rubber Baseball Tournament SUMMER CUP 2023” to be held in August for the second consecutive year.

In the East Kanto Block Tournament, teams that have won second place in the league matches of the Metropolitan University Rubber Baseball League, East Kanto University Rubber Baseball Federation, Kita Kanto University Rubber Baseball League, and Kanto New University Rubber Baseball League participate in the All-Japan Tournament. Compete for the right frame. Our team failed to win the spring league match of the Higashi Kanto University Rubber Baseball League held in May, and did not qualify for the tournament at that time, but in the main tournament, we defeated Ibaraki University 5-1 in the first match. In the finals, they scored 6 points in the early stages, and they grabbed the ticket to the national team with a dangerous game development.
