Kokkai Teruya, a member of the rubber-ball baseball club (1st-year Faculty of Tourism), has been selected as a member of the Japan University Rubber-ball Baseball Team for the 2023 academic year. Teruya is a right-handed outfielder who throws right and hits right, and is known for his steady defense, tenacious hitting, and base-running.

In addition to document screening, the Japanese representatives were selected after a practical skills screening held in Miyazaki Prefecture in June. This season, Teruya contributed to the team's victory as a pitcher in the East Kanto University spring league match, and also participated in the All Japan University Rubber Baseball Tournament held on August 21st.

During the national team's tour to Taiwan scheduled for December, Teruya will participate in exchange events such as a friendly match with a local university, as well as participate in a baseball clinic for children. .
