46th All Japan University Championship Results

The baseball (played with hard rubber ball) team that won the fall league match of the Higashi Kanto University Baseball Federation participated in the 46th All-Japan University baseball Championship held in Osaka Prefecture from November 20th.
The first round was against Teikyo University of Science. Despite losing points due to the successive pitches of four pitchers, they continued to pitch with tenacity. In the 8th inning, the opponent's mistake led to the batting line connecting, resulting in a stunning come-from-behind victory. The second round was against Hakuho University, but they were suppressed by the opposing pitchers and lost. It was a frustrating match.

This tournament ended with them losing in the second round. Although the entire team was able to fight as one, we lost due to lack of strength. Looking back on the match, I found many things that were good and bad. I hope that our juniors will use this frustration as a springboard to gain strength this winter and take on the next tournament. It was our last competition for 4th graders. I believe that we have been able to come this far thanks to the many people who have supported us. I'm really thankful to you. We appreciate your continued support and support for our softball baseball club.
