Our university's community collaboration efforts have been selected as Type 3 "Contribution to the development of the local community (community collaboration)" in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "FY2024 Comprehensive Support Project for Reform of Private Universities and Other Institutions."
This project focuses on supporting universities and other institutions that are making university-wide and organizational efforts to reform their own characteristics, strengths, and roles by promoting distinctive Research and Research that will nurture the human resources that will support the future, building systems and environments that will enable advanced Research, contributing to the local community, and promoting research and development and social implementation that will solve social issues. Of the 208 universities that applied for the regional collaboration type, 46 were selected.
Based on our "Policy on Social Collaboration and Contribution to Society," our university has been promoting organizational initiatives in cooperation with local governments and local industries around Chiba Togane Campus. These activities were recognized and led to this selection.
We will continue to strengthen our ties with the local community and strive to contribute to society by utilizing the results of our education and Research.
