In his opening remarks, University President Masato Kurabayashi said, "I sincerely hope that you will all think for yourself about the times in which you live, look ahead to the future and explore what you want to be, and continue to work hard to make it a reality."
The graduating representative, Taiga Hirayama (Faculty of International Humanities), reflected on his university life, saying, "Through my two overseas experiences and teaching practice, I learned the importance of communication skills in English, the ability to take on challenges without being afraid of small mistakes, and the importance of people understanding each other. I will use these wonderful experiences, which I experienced firsthand, in my future work."
Anna Orner-Berlin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Hungary to Japan
Anna Orner-Berlin, the Hungarian Ambassador to Japan, also attended the celebration and sent the graduates a message of encouragement, saying, "No matter what happens, don't give up, stay positive and work hard to make your dreams come true."
