The 2025 Autumn Commencement Ceremony and Diploma Presentation Ceremony was held on August 30th at Chiba Togane Campus, and 256 students were able to celebrate the occasion.
The participants on this special day were 46 graduate students (including 6 doctoral students), 139 undergraduate graduates, 9 students who completed Japanese Studies Program, and 62 exchange students. Of these, 184 students were international students from 16 countries and regions: China, South Korea, Taiwan, the United States, Hungary, Cambodia, Spain, the Czech Republic, France, Poland, Lithuania, Australia, Slovenia, the Philippines, Finland, and Vietnam, and they have made the most of their hard work and learning in Japan.
In his address, University President Masato Kurabayashi offered his encouragement, saying, "As you mark the end of your time at this university, I hope that each of you will reflect once again on what you have seen, thought, chosen, and acted upon. I sincerely hope that you will take pride and confidence in your achievements and demonstrate your abilities to the fullest, being even more true to yourself, on your new stage."

The graduating representative, Manao Bennadis Jarmin Bakiban (Graduate School of Humanities), who advanced from the Faculty of Faculty of International Humanities to Graduate School of Humanities, reflected on her university life, saying, "What I gained over the past six years is not just language and knowledge. I learned the courage to face difficulties head-on, the flexibility to find new solutions when the road is blocked, and the importance of valuing connections with others above all else."

After the ceremony, Japanese Studies Program were divided into undergraduate, Research and preparatory courses, and all received their diplomas, graduation certificates and completion certificates. In each classroom, students could be seen taking commemorative photos with their supervisors, savoring the day that will become a lifelong memory.
