Our university's rubber-ball baseball team (affiliated with the East Kanto University Rubber-ball Baseball League) won the 2025 Fall League, following on from the spring league. As a result, we have qualified to participate in the 48th All-Japan University Rubber-ball Championship to be held in Osaka Prefecture.

Under the leadership of former professional baseball player, Masami Miyashita, the team achieved remarkable results thanks to a well-connected batting line-up, tenacious pitchers, and strong bonds among the players who fought as a team. The impressive feat of winning both the spring and autumn championships is a testament to the team's daily efforts and unity. We will continue to challenge ourselves, aiming to make further progress on the national stage. We ask for your continued support.

In addition, our university's rubber-ball baseball club plans to send students to represent Japan at the 27th All-Japan University Rubber-ball International Friendly Tournament (TAIWAN) to be held in Taiwan in December. The university will also fully support student athletes who are active both at home and abroad.

Comment from Captain Shinkai Teruya (3rd year, Faculty of Tourism)

This year, we have learned from last year's mistakes and have been able to participate in the national tournament for the second consecutive season. At the summer national tournament, we finished in the top eight, which was disappointing. We will use this disappointment as motivation to surpass our summer results at the autumn national tournament, and as a team we will work together and do our best with pride as representatives of the East Kanto League.
