First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has continued to support and cheer us on. Josai International University Soccer Club has been promoted to the Kanto Division 3 League. Since enrolling, we have strived to achieve this goal, but we have struggled every year to achieve the results we wanted. However, I am truly happy that we were able to achieve that goal this year. There was not a single easy game this year. In the promotion tournament, we were behind in four of our five games, and we even had to come back from a three-goal deficit. However, I believe we were able to overcome those challenges thanks to our teammates, the supportive staff, and our families, who have overcome difficult times with us. As the season drew to a close, our team's sense of unity grew, and I believe the recent game was a wonderful example of that unity. I am once again proud of this team! The fourth-year students will now be retiring. Thank you very much for the past four years. The first, second, and third-year students will face even tougher challenges next year. There will be no easy games, but I hope you will continue to take on the challenge as the strongest challengers. I look forward to seeing you! I would like to thank everyone who supported us this season. thank you very much.
The Prince Takamado Memorial Sports Park, where Josai International University soccer team plays its daily home, is named after Prince Takamado and aims to contribute to the development of soccer in Japan. Furthermore, with his third daughter, Princess Ayako Takamado, serving as the soccer team's manager, the team has been working to earn promotion to the Kanto League since its founding.
Since taking up the position of head coach of Josai International University University's soccer team in 2017, I have been working toward promotion to the Kanto division (based on my ability to listen, think, and communicate). I believe that this promotion was made possible thanks to the support of everyone at the university and the continuous efforts of my alumni who have left the soccer team. While we achieved promotion to the Kanto Division 3 in 2025, our goal is still far away. With the change to a new stage, we will all work hard to fulfill our responsibility to operate in the Kanto League and establish ourselves as a representative of university soccer in Chiba Prefecture, making great strides in the Kanto University League. I sincerely ask for your continued support and encouragement.
