Company research session 2024 will be held

To current students

2024.02.06

On Monday, January 29, 2024, we held the "Josai International University Business Research Group 2024" at Hotel Springs Makuhari (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) near JR Kaihin Makuhari Station. A total of 584 third-year students and first-year master's students participated in the "morning session" and "afternoon session" (actual number of participants: 341).

Prior to the event, messages of encouragement were given to the participating students in the large underground hall by University President Kenji Sugibayashi during the morning session and Vice University President Masato Kurabayashi during the afternoon session. The interview venue will feature 60 companies in the morning session from a variety of industries, including manufacturing, wholesale/retail/trading companies, media/advertising, finance/insurance, construction/real estate, information, retail, logistics/transportation, hotels/travel, and services. A total of 120 companies participated in the "afternoon session," with 60 companies participating.

In addition to listening to explanations from each company, many of the students actively asked questions and took detailed notes, showing their enthusiasm. We also confirmed the upcoming selection schedule, indicating a high level of interest.

Alumni of our university were also present at the company booths, and they gave explanations about the current work environment and career paths to the participating students. It was a meaningful study session where alumni and current students interacted and made job hunting even more serious.
