"Well-being", which was included in the Basic Plan for the Promotion of Education (4th term), refers to being in a good physical, mental, and social state, and refers not only to short-term happiness but also to life's purpose and meaning. It is a concept that includes sustainable happiness into the future.

In economically advanced countries, emphasis has been placed on a life that finds purpose in life not only in terms of economic wealth, but also in terms of spiritual wealth and health. As values diversify in this way, we wonder what kind of value governments, companies, and universities will provide to society by setting up strategies to contribute to well-being, and how the environment surrounding them will change. It was a very meaningful opportunity to think about what to do next.
