The award ceremony for the recipients was held at the networking event (reservations required, open to those interested) held after the poster session, and the recipients were presented with certificates by University President Sugibayashi.
Many of the participating teachers commented, "It was a very good experience because I was able to hear opinions from people in different fields that I don't normally have contact with, from perspectives that I would not have noticed myself, and I was able to understand the issues I need to address in the future."
In addition, the name of the "JIU Special Research Award" was chosen based on the idea of Daijiro Katsumi, a second-year student Faculty of Media Studies, and he was awarded the "Naming Design Award."
