Regarding shuttle bus schedule revisions and changes
From April 1, 2024, there will be changes to the shuttle bus timetable and some routes.
Please check the documents below and make sure there are no mistakes.
Josai International University operates a direct shuttle bus to Chiba Togane Campus from major stations in Chiba Prefecture and elsewhere. Please use it for commuting.
- No service on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, school holidays, and days designated by the university.
- If you are coming to the entrance ceremony or graduation ceremony, please use the train as much as possible.
- Arrival time may be delayed due to road conditions.
If your arrival is expected to be delayed by more than 20 minutes, we will inform you on the JIU Portal Information (login screen).

Notes
- Departure time and required time may change depending on road conditions.
- Regarding the Yokohama service, if the Aqua Line is closed when going to school, the service from Kisarazu Station will be canceled and the student will go directly to the university from Yokohama Station.
Regarding the Yokohama service, if the Aqua Line is closed when leaving school, the service to Yokohama Station will be canceled and the service will continue to Kisarazu Station.
- Operation is from Monday to Friday. No service on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (excluding regular school days).
- During long vacations (summer/winter), the service is suspended, and the service schedule is subject to change during university events.
- You cannot ride more than the capacity.
- Due to legal regulations, shuttle bus fees cannot be paid in cash. Please prepare a coupon or usage ticket in advance. (Vouchers are sold at the certificate stamp vending machine on the 1st floor of the main building on Chiba Togane Campus (in front of Student Affairs and Support Services Department), and usage tickets are sold on the 1st floor of Building A)
- If you are using old coupon tickets, please ask for the difference at the ticket vending machine.
