A special meeting for Japanese Studies Program was held on December 22, 2023.

Japanese Studies Program

2023.12.25

A meeting was held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Japanese Studies Program. Bekka students and faculty members gathered together and had a fun time snacking on light snacks. At the meeting, students of Professor Chiga Hayashi's seminar who are studying Japanese language teaching methods played a central role, and we played a self-introduction game and a kanji karuta game in Japanese. At the end, we sang a song to conclude the year, and the exchange transcended Japanese language level and nationality. There are only a few days left in 2023. Of course you can study Japanese during winter vacation, but let's have fun and be safe. And I'm looking forward to seeing your smiling faces again next year.

Moderator: “Earth’s ‘sphere’!” Student: “This is it!”
The Kanji Karuta game was a close one.

In various words, "Kanpai", "Vô!", "Cheers!", "Hangai", "លើកកែវមួុយ!"

Mr. Tinh, who served as the moderator, is an international student from Vietnam. I am also a graduate of Japanese Studies Program, and am currently studying in the Japanese Language Teacher Training Course in Department of International Exchange Studies, Faculty of Humanities. It was a great host!
