Japanese Studies Program

2024.01.25

On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, there was a presentation for Japanese culture training Japanese Studies Program.

During the Japanese culture training held in December, we went to Ikebukuro Disaster Prevention Museum and Tokyo Anime Station. At the presentation, participants were asked about their happiness and joy when they saw the anime they had longed for and the production process of the anime. Also, what particularly left an impression on the students was the disaster prevention experience at the Ikebukuro Disaster Prevention Center. They presented what they learned through the training, including the differences with their own countries and what they need to do specifically to evacuate. Teachers and staff members also watched the presentations, and although the students were nervous due to the unusual atmosphere, they were able to work together in groups and convey what they had learned. The audience asked questions about the presentation, and the presentation was very lively and filled with smiles.

After the presentation, participants commented that they had learned a lot from other groups' presentations, including not only the content of their presentations, but also how to present slides, which seemed to serve as a good stimulus for their next presentation.
