Japanese Studies Program

2024.01.27

On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, the B2 class gave a presentation on the theme of "Mottainai" as a summary of 2023.

Each participant picked up the ``mottainai'' they found from the perspectives of ``materials,'' ``society,'' ``the way of life,'' etc., explained the current situation using data, and presented proposals for solutions. . The topics that my classmates picked up were: ``Vending machines (in Japanese society),'' ``Waste of excessive packaging,'' ``Waste that is often overlooked in life,'' ``Waste of resources and energy,'' ``Mottainai food,'' and ``Food ``Waste of war'', ``Waste of war'', ``War is a waste of resources'', ``Waste of war and its negative effects'', ``Waste of Sri Lanka (taking up politics)''. Each participant presented a summary of what they noticed after coming to Japan, the current situation in their own country, the conflicts and wars currently taking place in the world, and their opinions on the ``mottainai'' they discovered. It was a unique presentation that carefully thought out ways to make the listeners interested in the presentation content.
