The 11th JIU Japanese Language Research Group was held

The 11th JIU Japanese Language Education Research Meeting was held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Josai International University Kioicho Campus.

The theme of this event was "Aiming for Effective CLIL Practice." We invited Ms. Yukiko Okuno, author of the book "PEACE" on CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) in Japanese language education, to teach CLIL knowledge while actually carrying out group activities and thinking about activities to train higher-order thinking. There was also a lot of exchange of opinions throughout the activities. Many of the participants are currently teaching CLIL classes or are aiming to incorporate CLIL into their classes in the future, so the lecture was very meaningful.
