Teaching＆Research Education and Research Guidance
At Josai International University (JIU), as the number of international students has increased, the number of faculty members specializing in Japanese language education has also increased. Therefore, in 2018, when a department in charge of Japanese language education was newly established at the International Education Center, we launched the "JIU Japanese Language Education Research Group" with the aim of enriching and developing Japanese language education in the future. ◆Purpose
1. [Education] To provide effective teaching and support to Japanese language learners by improving the Japanese language teaching abilities of our members.
2. [Research] Promote research in Japanese language education and related peripheral research fields (e.g. Japanese language studies, various linguistics, language education, second language acquisition research, pragmatics research, intercultural education, Japanese culture research) and provide opportunities to present and share the results.
3. [Development] Provide a place to deepen knowledge about Japanese language education for students studying Japanese language education at undergraduate minors, graduate schools, and Japanese language teacher training institutions, as well as Japanese language education volunteers who run local Japanese language classes. to do
4. [Exchange] To create a place where many Japanese language teachers, including Japanese language teachers at overseas universities and Japanese language educational institutions, can gather and promote exchange and mutual study.
