JIU Japanese language course leading to exchange

Continuing from last year, in order to deepen mutual ties with overseas partner schools through Japanese language education, on November 15, 2023, Josai International University 's overseas partner school, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics' Tianfu College (China), and the JIU Japanese Language Program, held a "JIU Japanese Language Course Leading to Exchange" with the theme of "Learn about studying in Japan online!" This year, students studying Japanese from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics' Tianfu College enthusiastically participated.

The event began with a speech by Department Head Hayashibe, and after watching a video Introduction to the University, the students divided into beginner (Course A) and intermediate (Course B) levels and studied Japanese with Japanese language instructors from Josai International University. Afterwards, in Course A, a senior student from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics' Tianfu College, who went on to the JIU Japanese Language Program, participated in a Q&A session, where they were given answers to questions about studying in Japan, life in Japan, and other topics. In Course B, the students interacted in Japanese with Japanese students, giving them the opportunity to experience real-life Japanese. Finally, the day's activities were reviewed, and this year's "JIU Japanese Language Course Leading to Exchange" came to a close in a harmonious atmosphere.

Students from Tenfu Gakuin, Seinan University of Finance and Economics who participated in this course made comments such as, ``It was a lot of fun,'' ``The teachers were kind, so I was able to participate without being nervous,'' and ``I want to go to Japan as soon as possible.'' I received it. This is the second time this course has been held, and thanks to comments like this, we would like to continue to improve this course in the future.
