JIU Japanese language course leading to exchange

Japanese Studies Program

2023.11.18

“JIU Japanese Language Course Leading to Exchange” was held online in collaboration with overseas partner schools.

Continuing from last year, in order to deepen mutual solidarity with overseas affiliated schools through Japanese language education, on November 15, 2023, Josai International University 's overseas affiliated schools, Southwest University of Finance and Economics Tianfu Academy (China) and JIU Japanese Studies Program, we held a "Japanese language course leading to JIU exchange" with the theme of "Let's learn about studying abroad in Japan online!" This year as well, students from Tenfu Gakuin, Seinan University of Finance and Economics, who are studying Japanese, enthusiastically participated.

We started with a talk by Hayashibetsu, watched a video introducing the university, and then divided into beginner (Course A) and intermediate (Course B) levels to learn Japanese with Josai International University 's Japanese language instructors. I did it. After that, in Course A, we held a question corner where senior students who went on to JIU's Japanese Studies Program from Seinan University of Finance and Economics Tenfu Gakuin answered questions about studying abroad in Japan and life in Japan. In Course B, we interacted with Japanese students in Japanese so that they could experience real-life Japanese. Finally, the participants reflected on today's activities, and this year's "Japanese Language Course Leading to JIU Exchange" ended in a peaceful atmosphere.

Students from Tenfu Gakuin, Seinan University of Finance and Economics who participated in this course made comments such as, ``It was a lot of fun,'' ``The teachers were kind, so I was able to participate without being nervous,'' and ``I want to go to Japan as soon as possible.'' I received it. This is the second time this course has been held, and thanks to comments like this, we would like to continue to improve this course in the future.

We all took a commemorative photo!
