After working as a professor at the Japanese Language School of Dalian University of Foreign Studies in China, he came to Japan and became a professor at Josai International University Graduate School of Humanities. He also serves as Executive Director of the Japan-China Translation Culture and Education Association and Director of the Japanese Language Education Subcommittee of the Chinese Japanese Language Teaching Research Group.
