Risk management policy Basic information about the university

1. Concept of risk management

Risks expected at universities include business risks, information security risks, compliance risks, and event risks. Particularly in universities, in addition to natural disasters, infectious diseases, health damage, mental health, work-related and school-related accidents and incidents, leaks of personal information, research fraud and misuse of research funds, entrance exam mistakes, sexual harassment and power harassment, etc.・There are various risk events such as red harassment. The occurrence of such risk events could seriously damage the lives, property, reputation, and trust of the university, not only of students and staff but also of many other stakeholders.
Precisely because we live in an age where destructive impacts that change the world are progressing simultaneously, in order for our university to achieve sustainable development, we must anticipate the occurrence of various risk events and take measures to prevent them. In preparation for the unfortunate event that a risk becomes a reality, we will engage in constant risk management to deal with it.
