Graduate Graduate School of Humanities Department of International Culture and Women's Studies

Master's theses in the Department of International Culture and Department of Women's Studies at Graduate School of Humanities will be reviewed based on the following criteria.
Ⅰ. Evaluation Criteria for Master's Thesis Examination
1. The thesis must be the result of Research conducted independently by the degree applicant.
2. The content of the thesis must be novel and original.
3. The structure, content, and volume of the thesis must be deemed appropriate from the following perspectives.
(1) Are the topic and problem posed in the paper meaningful?
(2) Is the background of Research described and is Research objective clear?
3) Are Research methods described and in line with the objectives?
(4) Have the data and materials been collected in an appropriate manner and presented appropriately?
5) Is appropriate consideration given to the data and materials presented?
6. Have appropriate conclusions been drawn based on Research objectives?
(7) Are the references and materials cited appropriately?
4. The applicant must adhere to the "Josai International University Regulations for Promoting Fair Research Activities."

II. Evaluation criteria for the master's thesis oral examination
1. The explanation of the thesis content is appropriate.
⑴ Was the entire paper explained appropriately and logically?
(2) (If necessary) Did you correctly understand and clearly explain Research ethics?
(3) Were you able to correctly recognize and explain the novelty or originality of the paper?
2. The content of the paper must be explained appropriately during the question and answer session.
⑴ Were you able to explain the contents of your paper in an appropriate manner in response to questions?
⑵ Were you able to respond appropriately to the questions?

The Research School Committee will decide whether or not to award the University President based on the results of the thesis review and the oral examination.


Graduate School of Humanities Department of Global Communication

Master's theses and Research reports for the Department of Global Communication in the Graduate Graduate School of Humanities will be reviewed based on the following criteria.
I. Evaluation criteria for master's thesis examination
1. The thesis or report must be the result of Research conducted independently by the degree applicant.
2. The content of the paper or report must be novel and original.
3. The structure, content, and volume of the paper or report must be deemed appropriate from the following perspectives.
(1) Are the topic and problem posed in the paper or report meaningful?
(2) Is the background of Research described and is Research objective clear?
3) Are Research methods described and in line with the objectives?
(4) Have the data and materials been collected in an appropriate manner and presented appropriately?
5) Is appropriate consideration given to the data and materials presented?
6. Have appropriate conclusions been drawn based on Research objectives?
(7) Are the references and materials cited appropriately?
4. The applicant must adhere to the "Josai International University Regulations for Promoting Fair Research Activities."

II. Evaluation criteria for the oral examination of master's thesis and project Research report
1. The content of the paper or report must be explained appropriately.
⑴ Was the entire paper/report explained appropriately and logically?
(2) (If necessary) Did you correctly understand and clearly explain Research ethics?
(3) Were you able to correctly recognize and explain the novelty or originality of the paper or report?
2. The content of the paper or report must be explained appropriately during the question and answer session.
(1) Were you able to explain the contents of your paper or report in an appropriate manner in response to questions?
⑵ Were you able to respond appropriately to the questions?

Research School Committee will decide whether to award a degree to the students based on the results of the thesis and report review and the oral examination. The Graduate School Committee will then compile opinions based on the results of the thesis and report review and the diploma policy, and University President will then decide whether to award a degree to the students.


Graduate Graduate School of Management and Information Sciences Department of Entrepreneurial Management

Master's thesis examinations in the Graduate Graduate School of Management and Information Sciences, Department of Entrepreneurship Management, will be conducted based on the following criteria.

2. The content of the thesis must be novel and original.
3. The structure, content, and volume of the thesis must be deemed appropriate from the following perspectives.

Graduate School of International Administration The Master's thesis review in the Department of International Administration will be based on the following criteria
I. Criteria for Evaluation of Master's Thesis Evaluation Criteria for Master's Thesis Examination
1. The thesis must be the result of the applicant's independent efforts Research. 2.
2. The thesis should be novel or original. 3.
3. The structure, content, and volume of the thesis should be judged appropriate from the following perspectives.
(1) The theme of the paper and the way in which the problem is formulated are meaningful.
(2) Does the paper describe the background of Research and clarify the purpose of Research?
(3) Does it describe the Research methodology and is the methodology consistent with the objectives?
(⑷ Are the data and materials collected in an appropriate manner and presented appropriately?
⑸ Are appropriate considerations made based on the data and materials presented?
⑹ Are appropriate conclusions drawn based on the Research objectives?
⑺ Are references cited and materials presented appropriately?
4. The "Regulations for the Promotion of Fair Research Activities at Josai International University" must be complied with.

II. Evaluation Criteria for Project Research Report Review
Objectivity: Are objectivity ensured through the data and materials used in the analysis of Research cases?
Logic: Is the logic of the structure (purpose, analysis results, conclusion) consistent with the theme of the case Research?
Appropriateness of format: Are references, citations, and notes properly listed? Are notes, figures, and tables properly labeled? Is the paper of appropriate length?
Originality: Has the study been based on original data and information obtained through field surveys, interviews with relevant parties, etc., and has it provided original analysis and consideration?
Applicability: Practical usefulness, potential for development, suggestions for improvement, and potential for application to other projects.
Research ethics: Does it comply with the "Josai International University Research Ethics Regulations"?

III. Evaluation criteria for the master's thesis and project Research report oral examination
1. The content of the paper or report must be explained appropriately.
⑴ Was the paper and report as a whole explained appropriately and logically?
(2) (If necessary) Did you correctly understand and clearly explain Research ethics?
(3) Were you able to correctly recognize and explain the novelty or originality of the paper or report?
2. The content of the paper or report must be explained appropriately during the question and answer session.
(1) Were you able to explain the contents of your paper or report in an appropriate manner in response to questions?
⑵ Were you able to respond appropriately to the questions?

The Graduate School Committee will decide whether to award the degree to the student based on the results of the thesis and project Research report review and the oral examination. The Research School Committee will then compile opinions based on the results of the review and the Diploma Policy, and University President will then decide whether to award the degree to the student.


Graduate Graduate School of Health Sciences Department of Health Sciences

Master's thesis examinations at the Graduate Graduate School of Health Sciences Health Sciences, will be conducted based on the following criteria.

Doctoral dissertations in the Department of Comparative Culture at the Graduate School of Humanities will be reviewed based on the following criteria.
I. Completeness of the paper
(1) Originality and Expansion
- Have you researched previous Research in the relevant Research field or area, fully understood and organized them, and positioned your own Research within Research trends in that field?
-Is the problem clearly stated, and the significance and necessity of Research explained?
- Is there evidence of originality in the author's discussion and opinions that goes beyond previous Research?
- Can the content of the paper be evaluated as having the potential to contribute to future Research and accelerate progress in the relevant field?
(2) Evidence
・Is the data and information used in the argument sufficient in quality and quantity, and does it match the argument? Is the method of collection appropriate?
-Are the analysis and discussion conducted using appropriate methodologies and theories that are appropriate to Research objectives?
(3) Logicality
- Is the argument clear and consistent throughout the argumentation process?
Is the conclusion clearly stated?
(4) Format
- Is it prepared in accordance with the prescribed format and standard format for the relevant field or area?
-Are the notations and expressions appropriate?
- Are citations, notes, figures, charts, references, etc. used and presented appropriately?
(5) Oral examination and public presentation
- Were you able to concisely summarize the content and significance of the paper and explain it accurately and effectively?
- Were the questions and answers answered appropriately?

II. Ability and potential as Research
Can we expect great things from the author of this paper as an independent Research in this field?

These evaluation criteria and points will be applied flexibly, taking into account various conditions according to the Research field and Research subject.


Graduate Graduate School of Management and Information Sciences Department of Entrepreneurial Management (Doctoral Program)

Doctoral dissertations in the Department of Entrepreneurial Management (Doctoral Program) of the Graduate Graduate School of Management and Information Sciences will be reviewed based on the following criteria.
I. Completeness of the paper
(1) Originality and Expansion
- Have you researched previous Research in the relevant Research field or area, fully understood and organized them, and positioned your own Research within Research trends in that field?

Graduate Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences Department of Medical Pharmacy

Doctoral dissertations in the Department of Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Pharmaceutical Sciences will be reviewed based on the following criteria.
I. Completeness of the paper
(1) Originality and Expansion
- Have you researched previous Research in the relevant Research field or area, fully understood and organized them, and positioned your own Research within Research trends in that field?
-Is the problem clearly stated, and the significance and necessity of Research explained?
- Does the author of this paper demonstrate originality in his or her discussion and opinions that goes beyond previous Research?
- Does the content of the paper have the potential to contribute to future Research and can it be evaluated as accelerating progress in the relevant field?
(2) Evidence
・Are Research results and information used in the argument sufficient in quality and quantity, and do they match the argument? Is the method of collection appropriate?
-Are the analysis and discussion conducted using appropriate methodologies and theories that are appropriate to Research objectives?
(3) Logicality
- Is the argument clear and consistent throughout the argumentation process?

(4) Format

- Have you published at least one academic paper as the lead author on your own Research (however, this must be limited to papers that have been published in a peer-reviewed English academic journal (acceptance will be accepted)) and at least two records of your own activities (co-authored academic papers, journals, training reports, portfolios, officially recognized growth certificates, etc.)?
(2) Future development potential as Research
-Are you recognized as having a lifelong commitment to self-improvement?
- Have you acquired the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to demonstrate scientific insight and leadership in the field of medical pharmacy?
