Applications for the Asia Summer Program 2024 at Dongseo University in Korea are now being accepted!　アジアサマープログラム2024（韓国　東西大学で開催）の募集を開始しました！

The Asia Summer Program (ASP) is an international summer program that spans over a period of three weeks. It is designed to delve into topics that are pertinent to individuals around the world. Since its inception in 2012, ASP has been a powerful tool in fostering a connection between different cultures, promoting creativity and collaboration, and inspiring students and faculty members to explore the nuances of our culture and enhance the interconnectedness of our institutions. 

ASP 2024: 
Participating students select two courses, one offered in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each course is typically worth two academic credits that may be applied toward the students’ graduation requirements at their home university (though it should be noted that policies may differ between participating universities). Most courses cover topics in liberal arts and humanities, with some introductory level courses in other fields also available. All courses are taught by esteemed instructors representing participating universities.

In addition to academic studies, students have opportunities to join various special activities and tours. These are intended to increase awareness of the host country’s culture and promote friendship among participants. The memories and social connections formed at ASP can last a lifetime.

アジアサマープログラム（ASP）は、アジア各国を中心とした学生の交流推進を目的として、タイ、韓国、インドネシア、マレーシア、日本にある5大学によって、2012年にスタートしたプログラムです。2022年は、城西国際大学が幹事校を務め、オンラインで開催されました。

今年度開催されるASPはアジアに関連するトピックに焦点を当てた3週間の国際夏期プログラムです。その主な目的は、アジアの文化に対する深い理解、広範で創造的なマインドセット、国際的な協力の才能を持つ将来のリーダーを育成することです。学習環境は友好的で多文化的であり、しばしばアジア全域およびそれ以上の地域からの大学生が参加します。

参加する学生は、午前中と午後の2つのコースを選択します。各コースは通常、学生の卒業要件に適用できる2つの学術単位の価値があります（ただし、参加する大学によって方針が異なることに注意してください）。ほとんどのコースは人文科学のトピックをカバーしており、他の分野の入門レベルのコースも一部利用可能です。すべてのコースは、参加大学を代表する著名な講師によって教えられます。

学術的な研究に加えて、学生はさまざまな特別な活動やツアーに参加する機会があります。これらは、開催国の文化に対する認識を高め、参加者同士の友情を促進することを意図しています。ASPで形成される思い出や社会的なつながりは、一生の宝となります。

2024年開催概要

担当校：東西大学（韓国・釜山）

日　　程：7月6日～28日（3週間）（授業は7月8日～26日）
参加費用：900USD
　※授業料・教材費・空港送迎・3週間の宿泊費・食費・プログラムの際の国内交通費含む。
　※日本からの航空券と海外旅行保険は参加者負担。

特別奨学金について

　対象者には特別奨学金として7万円が支給されます。（20名迄）
　　条件：TOEIC500点以上を所持、もしくは成績が優秀であること
　　（詳細は国際教育センターにお問い合わせください。）

登録締め切り：5月17日
参加費用支払締切：5月31日
韓国への到着日：7月6日、または、7月7日（後日決定）
韓国から出発の日：7月27日、または、7月28日（後日決定）
