On the steps of  the historic library

On October 9, the All English Course students visited the National Diet Library for a private tour. The largest library in Japan is located within 15-minutes walk from our Kioicho Campus. The students learned about the Library’s history, system, and operation. The view of the annex building from its bottom floor was breathtaking. After the tour, the students made library cards for future visits.

“Traveling ten thousand miles is better than reading ten thousand books .Thank you so much!Wish you all the best in your work and life!” (Ding Zelin)

“My visit to the National Diet Library left me with a deep understanding of Japan’s commitment to cultural preservation and historical continuity. The vast collections showcase the country's rich intellectual and cultural heritage. Walking through the library’s halls, I was immersed in its scholarly atmosphere, which has motivated me to deepen my own research and continue exploring my academic interests with greater passion. ” (Ban Kihou).”

Last but not least, we thank greatly the librarian who gave us this memorable tour.
