小松准教授が第5回国際大学フォーラムで講演を行いました｜Prof.Komatsu gave a lecture at the 5th International University Forum

国際アドミニストレーション研究科　小松悟朗准教授が2月14日（金）に行われた第5回国際大学フォーラムにおいて講演を行いました。日本国内の４つの国際大学が参加するネットワーク未来ネットワークCOIN主催の「スポーツを通じた人材育成が多様な『つながり』を創造する　―世界に拡がるスポーツの可能性と連携・活用・革新の未来像―」という主題で行われた今回のフォーラムにおいて、小松准教授は「スポーツとデータサイエンス」というテーマでプログラムの最後に登壇しました。１５分と言う限られた時間の中で、野球の走塁の際の戦術にデータがどう活用できるかという身近な例から始めて、スポーツとデータサイエンスの関係、今後ますます重要になっていくデータサイエンスへの本学の取り組みと、今後の4大学間の連携の展望についてわかりやすく説明しました。 

Associate Professor Goro Komatsu of the Graduate School of International Administration gave a lecture at the 5th International University Forum held on Friday, February 14th. The forum was held under the theme of "Human Resource Development through Sports Creates Diverse 'Connections' - The Potential of Sports Expanding Globally and the Future of Cooperation, Utilization, and Innovation," and was organized by the Future Network COIN, which is comprised of four international universities in Japan. At the end of the forum, Associate Professor Komatsu appeared on stage to speak on the theme of "Sports and Data Science." In the limited time of 15 minutes, he gave an easy-to-understand explanation of the relationship between sports and data science, starting with a familiar example of how data can be used in tactics for base running in baseball, and then went on to explain the university's efforts in data science, which will become increasingly important in the future, and the outlook for future cooperation between the four universities.
