2026年4月20日、東京紀尾井町キャンパスで第9回方永義奨学優秀賞授与式を開催しました。当日は、国際アドミニストレーション研究科の教員および在学生が出席し、受賞者の功績を称えました。
方永義奨学優秀賞は、日本文化への理解と関心を有し、日本と母国双方の発展に寄与する人物の育成を目的として設けられたものです。今年度は、学業成績および人物面において特に優秀と認められた留学生5名が、厳正な審査を経て選考されました。
授与式には、本学第1期生であり、本奨学金の寄付者である株式会社RSテクノロジーズ代表取締役社長・方永義氏が出席され、受賞者に向け、ご自身の学生生活を振り返り、「皆さんには日本と母国との懸け橋になる活躍を期待しています」と励ましの言葉が贈られました。受賞者は表彰後、それぞれ今後の学生生活や将来への抱負を述べました。

On April 20, 2026, the University held the 9th Hō Nagayoshi Scholarship Excellence Award Ceremony at the Tokyo Kioicho Campus. Faculty members and students from the Graduate School of International Administration attended the ceremony to recognize and celebrate the achievements of the award recipients.

The Hō Ei-gi Scholarship Excellence Award was established to foster individuals who demonstrate a strong interest in and understanding of Japanese culture and who are capable of contributing to the development of both Japan and their home countries. In the 2026 academic year, five international students were selected through a rigorous screening process based on their outstanding academic performance and personal qualities.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Hō Nagayoshi , President and CEO of RS Technologies Co., Ltd., an alumnus of the University’s first graduating class and the donor of the scholarship. Reflecting on his own student days, Dr. Hō encouraged the award recipients by expressing his hope that they would play an active role as bridges between Japan and their home countries. Following the award presentation, each recipient shared their future aspirations for their academic and professional paths.
