遠藤教授がAssociation of Asian Studies Conference 2022で近著を発表されました | Our Prof. Endoh presented a chapter from her upcoming book at?the Association of Asian Studies Conference 2022

3月26日、ホノルルで開催されたAssociation of Asian Studies Conference 2022において、本研究科の遠藤十亜希教授が「Turning Water into Fair Pool: Prewar Japan's Paternalistic Outreach in its South American Emigration Policy」と題した論文を発表しました。

この論文は、近日出版予定の "Japanese Empire and Latin America" (University of Hawai'i Press) に掲載されているもので、オンラインで発表されました。このほか、この本の他の章を担当した3人のパネリスト（と司会者）も議論に参加しました。

どの論文も好評で、特に2名の討論者から積極的なコメントと建設的な提案をいただきました。今後もできるだけ多くのご意見を最終版に反映させていきたいと考えています。

On March 26th, Prof. Toake Endoh presented a paper entitled "Turning the Water into Fair Pools: Prewar Japan’s Paternalistic Outreach in its South American Emigration Policy" at the Association of Asian Studies Conference 2022 in Honolulu.

The paper--presented online--was drawn from a chapter of the upcoming book entitled "Japanese Empire and Latin America" (University of Hawai'i Press). There were three other panelists (plus the chair) who also contributed their chapters to the book.

All the papers were well received, especially positive comments and constructive suggestions from two discussants, We look forward to incorporate as many feedbacks as possible into the final version!
