Students in the Dean’s Office

Students from both Departments have been meeting with me on a one-on-one basis every Thursday. I have started with the 1st and 4th-year students this semester, but I am planning to meet 2nd and 3rd-year students in the fall as well. My goal is to meet all the 800+ students from all over Japan and the world in within this academic year. It is wonderful to have this opportunity to listen to them and exchange ideas. I wish I could do that every day!

毎週木曜日、国際文化学科、国際交流学科の在校生と、一対一でのミーティングを行っています。まず春学期は、1年生と4年生からスタートしました。秋学期には、2年生、3年生と会う予定です。日本各地、世界各国から集ってくれた800人以上の在校生全員と、今年度中に会うことが目標です。学生たちから話を聴き、アイディアを交換できる機会を持ててとてもうれしく思います。本当なら毎日できればよいのにとさえ思います。
