株式会社RSテクノロジーズとの産学連携協定調印式を実施 | Signing Ceremony for Industry-Academia Collaboration Agreement with RS Technologies Co., Ltd.

2024年4月9日(火) 、城西国際大学(千葉県東金市)は、株式会社RSテクノロジーズ (東京都品川区) との産学連携協定を締結しました。

株式会社RSテクノロジーズ(東京証券取引所プライム市場上場、以下RST社)は、再生ウェーハで世界市場シェア1位を誇るわが国でも有数の半導体関連企業のひとつです。同社は2010年に創業後、M&Aによって事業を拡大し、現在、日本、台湾、中国でウェーハの生産を行っています。また、RST社の創業者である代表取締役社長、方永義氏は、本学第1期生で2023年には本学で博士の学位を取得しています。

この産学連携協定は、RST社が本学のM&A に関する研究を支援し、さらに両者で連携してスタートアップと事業会社の共創を担う人材の育成を目的としています。本学では、国際アドミニストレーション研究科を中心に以下の事業連携を開始いたします。

(1) 企業のM&Aと成長に関する研究 

(2) 寄附講義「スタートアップと M&A(仮称)」の開講(2025 年度を予定)

(3) 専門人材育成に関する協力 

(4) 産学連携による成果の社会への発信

Josai International University and RS Technologies Co., Ltd. concluded academic-industrial partnerships agreement on April 9, 2024. 

The partnership aims to cooperate in research about Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) in Japan as well as in providing a lecture about Startup and M&A at JIU. 

RS Technologies is the world largest provider of wafer reclaim services for the semiconductor industry and the company is listed in Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime section. The founder and CEO of the company, Nagayoshi Ho completed his doctoral degree at JIU in 2023.
