【国際フォーラム】コロナ後の世界について英語で語り合いました

On the 28^th of May, Angel Ogihara, a junior student of International Humanities, gave an English speech at the online forum, “International Cooperation on Education and Responsibilities of the Youth in the Post-Epidemic Era,” hosted by Jilin International Studies University. The title of her speech was “the Postponement of International Cooperation between Universities and the Role of the Youth in the Post-Pandemic World,” and she spoke about the postponement of student exchange programs and how it affected students’ lives and their motivation. She told us that she learned different stories students were going through because of the pandemic while preparing for the event and that 11 students from 7 countries made so motivational and informative speeches that she could gain great insight into different perspectives from country to country. Here we praise her for the remarkable activity in the international arena.

去る5月28日、国際人文学部3年生の萩原エンジェルさんが、吉林外国語大学主催のオンライン・フォーラム「ポスト・コロナ時代における教育上の国際協力と若者が果たすべき役割」で、英語スピーチを行いました。荻原さんは、「大学間の国際協力の延期とポスト・コロナ世界における若者の役割」と題して、新型コロナウイルス感染症による留学プログラムの延期と、それが学生たちの生活やモチベーションにどのように影響したかについて話しました。彼女は、イベントの準備をする間、パンデミックによって生徒たちが潜り抜けたさまざまな経験を学び、かつ、7カ国から11名の学生が、やる気を起こさせる有益なスピーチをしてくれたおかげで、国によってさまざまな物の見方について、大いに理解を深めることができたと語ってくれました。彼女の国際的なすばらしい活躍を報告し、ここにたたえたいと思います。
