In Februray, Graduate School of International Administration (GSIA), Josai International University (JIU) proudly present fieldwork and presentation sessions to promote a post-COVID-19 tourism in Tokyo area.
This tourism event is supported by Tokyo Metropolitan Government as part of its program to foster understanding of tourism promotion in Tokyo.
The main theme of this promotion event is its unique focus on “Inbound Tourism Marketing and Data Science.” The participants of this event first do fieldwork activities in Shibamata, Shin-Okubo, Kichijoji, or Chofu area. They then will discuss and come up with their tourism promotion plans after the era of COVID-19. The participants are also expected to give presentations of their plans, and will receive comments from experts in tourism industries.
This event is free of charge and open to anyone who lives, works or attends school in Tokyo metropolitan area. To register, prior application is required through our registration form online. The fieldworks-participants are expected to join both Feb. 4th and 11th sessions.
